Francis Bacon, whose work dominated the mid-20th century art world, was a master of depicting the fragility and violence embedded in the human condition. The distorted faces, suspended in motion, captures the very essence of Bacon's fascination with the imperfection of human beings. Bacon once said, "We are meat," referencing the raw physicality of human existence.
Studio extravaganza today at Saracen House Studio in MK. Spending some great time with a bunch of local photographers playing with some nice Broncolor flash lights and studio set-ups. Many thanks for the opportunity to Andy Warner, Andrew Griffiths and lovely Koshka for being such a patient model.
